Friday Night at The Pipe Shop — August 21, 2026

Some nights you find your people. Friday at The Pipe Shop we debuted our Dungeon Crawler Carl bookmarks, and the fans found us.

Fellow Crawlers

If you know, you know. Dungeon Crawler Carl isn’t a massive fanbase yet, which is exactly what made Friday fun — every crawler who wandered by lit up the moment they registered what they were looking at. Bookmarks being bookmark-sized, nobody spots them from across the aisle. It’s a table-side discovery, and watching the recognition land in real time never got old.

We brought six designs out: Carl and Princess Donut, a Donut and Mongo piece reading “Mongo is appalled,” and four more sayings from the series. The Desperado Club was the crowd favourite, though the night’s high point was the guy who simply bought all six. That’s not a bookmark purchase — that’s a collector.

The best part was the conversations. Spoiler-free chats about the books, comparing favourite moments, and more than one person visibly relieved to find out we’re actually fans rather than just printing whatever’s trending. Crawlers can tell the difference immediately, and it changes the whole tone of the interaction.

We’ve got large DCC HueForge prints in the works for next week — something people can spot from across the aisle.

MEGA Clickers Incoming

Clickers kept doing what clickers do, holding the top spot as always. But our most dedicated regulars got a sneak peek at what’s coming: MEGA clickers. A 200% scale panic button, with a sound to match the size. The reactions were exactly what we hoped for. Consider this your official heads-up.

The Wiggly Pups came in right behind the clickers, continuing their strong run since launching in July.

The Night Itself

Friday felt quiet — one of those evenings where the room reads slower than it is. But sales landed right on par with the past few weeks, which is a good reminder that the vibe in the moment and the numbers at the end don’t always agree.

Looking Ahead

Two more Fridays to close out our summer run at The Pipe Shop. We’re back August 28 with the big DCC prints in tow, then September 4 to wrap the season on the waterfront. Check out our full schedule on our events page, or browse all our 3D printed creations in our online shop!
