Crawlers, Covers, and a Very Big Button: Friday Night at The Pipe Shop

August 28 at The Pipe Shop

Friday Night at The Pipe Shop — August 28, 2026

Last week the Dungeon Crawler Carl bookmarks needed people to be standing at the table before they’d notice them. This week we fixed that.

The Cover Series Lands

Our DCC HueForge cover series arrived in grand fashion — all eight prints, out on display, impossible to miss. And they did exactly what we hoped: people spotted them from clear across the aisle, pointing and grinning before they’d even started walking over. Watching someone clock a familiar cover from twenty feet away and immediately change course is a very good feeling.

What followed was the best part. Fun conversations about the series with people who were genuinely excited to find it out in the wild, and plenty of DCC bookmarks going home with fellow crawlers. Two weeks in and the DCC corner of our table has become a proper little gathering spot.

The MEGA Clicker Effect

Last Friday the MEGA clicker was a quiet peek for regulars. This week people were spotting it on their own and asking to try it — and everyone who did loved it. A 200% scale panic button with a sound to match turns out to be exactly as satisfying as it sounds. Once the switch is available we’ll be printing a few popular designs for the holiday season, so keep an eye out.

We also had a couple of big D20 clickers on the table drawing looks of their own.

Smaller Crowd, Bigger Baskets

The crowd felt a bit smaller than last week – especially at the start, but the people who came spent a bit more. We moved some prints we’d been carrying for a while, which is always a satisfying kind of sale — the right person finally walking up to a piece that’s been waiting for them. The Wiggly Pups stayed popular as ever, and clickers did their usual steady work.

Looking Ahead

One more Friday to go. We’re back at The Pipe Shop on September 4 to close out our summer run on the waterfront — come see the DCC covers, try the MEGA clicker, and help us send the season off properly. Check out our full schedule on our events page, or browse all our 3D printed creations in our online shop!
