Spring Local Market at The Pipe Shop – April 11-12, 2026

Evergreen Layers returned to The Pipe Shop in North Vancouver this past weekend for Made In The 604’s Spring Local Market, and it was another wonderful two days at one of our favorite venues. The crowds were steady both Saturday and Sunday—not huge, but happy and friendly, which made for great conversations and genuine connections with shoppers.
One of the best parts of events at The Pipe Shop? The dogs! Lots of furry friends wandered around wagging their tails all weekend, adding that extra layer of joy to the atmosphere. There’s something special about a venue where four-legged guests are welcome and clearly having as much fun as everyone else.
What Sold Best
Bookmarks and clickers dominated the weekend! Our newly expanded bookmark range and improved display system really caught people’s eyes, and they absolutely loved the selection. The new Lord of the Rings designs, additional Star Wars options, and D&D sayings all resonated with shoppers looking for both functional and fandom-themed pieces. It’s exciting when an investment in better presentation pays off so clearly!
New Faces & Old Friends
We saw a lot of new faces over the two days, which is always energizing. Even better? Reconnecting with a couple of customers we hadn’t seen since the Night Markets last summer! Those long-gap reunions are always fun—it’s like picking up right where you left off.
We also had several great conversations with people interested in getting into 3D printing personally. Sharing our passion for the craft and seeing others get inspired never gets old. Who knows—maybe we’ll see some of them at future markets as fellow makers!
Community & Collaborations
The vendor lineup was a great mix of familiar faces and new connections. We met some fantastic new makers including PremiumChocolatesca, scrapsarchive.co, and others, with discussions leading to some possible product collaborations we hadn’t even thought of before. We also got better acquanted the folks who run Bijoux Designs, Wet Coast Naturals and Snail Maille Creations over the weekend. It’s moments like these that make the maker community so special—everyone’s creativity sparking new ideas.
As always, the Made In The 604 team was professional and accommodating. Bahar and her staff make these events run smoothly, and we really appreciate working with organizers who understand what vendors need to succeed.
