Event Recap

Spring Popup at Heritage Hall – April 18-19, 2026

Evergreen Layers spent another fantastic weekend at Heritage Hall in Vancouver for Made In The 604’s Spring Popup, and the spring weather definitely cooperated! Both days brought sunshine that had people out enjoying the season, with Saturday drawing the bigger crowd and Sunday offering a more relaxed vibe—though Sunday also coincided with Vancouver’s annual Sun Run, which brought out some post-race shoppers looking to celebrate their accomplishment with a little local shopping.

The atmosphere was electric all weekend thanks to great music blasting throughout the venue. Vendors were grooving in their booths, and that energy was contagious—it’s amazing how the right soundtrack can elevate an entire event!

What Sold Best

Bookmarks, clickers, and Wiggly Minis were the stars of the weekend! The new bookmark display continues to prove its worth, catching eyes and driving sales. It’s rewarding to see an investment in better presentation pay off consistently across multiple events. Clickers maintained their reign as always, and the Wiggly Minis brought their usual share of delighted reactions from kids and adults alike.

Memorable Moments

We loved seeing familiar faces from the Mount Pleasant area throughout the weekend—Heritage Hall clearly draws from the local community! One of the highlights was a lively discussion between customers debating whether Dick Grayson or Jason Todd was the better Robin. We stayed diplomatically neutral, but it’s always fun when the booth becomes a gathering spot for those passionate fandom conversations.

We also left with a custom order for two Star Wars HueForge prints, which is always exciting. There’s something special about creating pieces tailored to specific fan visions.

Community Connections

The vendor lineup delivered a perfect mix of reunions and new friendships. We reconnected with SnailMaille, I Woof Treats, and Wet Coast Naturals—always great to see familiar maker friends. We also met fantastic new folks from MandyPantsPots, The Wiseacre Cardmaker and Made By CheChe, adding to our growing vendor family. Just great people all around, which is what makes these events so rewarding beyond the sales.
