Summer Night Market at The Pipe Shop — July 24, 2026
Evergreen Layers is back! Last night we kicked off the summer Friday night market series at The Pipe Shop in North Vancouver, and it felt so good to be there. This was the first market back at The Shipyards after the site was tied up hosting FIFA World Cup events, and the return did not disappoint — gorgeous summer weather brought people down to the waterfront, a band playing outside kept the whole area buzzing, and the crowd was in a genuinely great mood all evening.
It had been about two months since our last event, so we took the opportunity to try a new booth layout. Setup ran a little longer than usual while we worked out the new arrangement, but it was absolutely worth it — everything flowed better, and it’s a setup we’ll be refining across the rest of the series.
What Sold Best
Clickers held onto the top spot, as always. But the big story of the night was our brand new Wiggly Dogs collection! We only brought 15 breeds and they were a hit right out of the gate, with the German Shorthaired Pointer and the blue-eyed Husky leading the pack. People loved seeing their own dog’s breed, and we’ve already got a list of requests for next time.
We also debuted our new clicker chocolate bar — a four-piece bar with one square that looks like it’s had a bite taken out of it, and three clickers with different symbols on top. There’s a single-clicker version with the same bite detail too. Watching people figure out what they were looking at was half the fun.
Memorable Moments
The Wiggly Dogs got plenty of excited reactions, and the new chocolate bar clickers had people picking them up just to see how they worked. We also had some lovely repeat customers stop by, including a dad and his young daughter who has made a tradition of picking out a dragon from our table. Those little rituals are honestly the best part of doing this.
