Fidgets, Flames, and Fun at the Tears of Joy Hot Sauce Expo (August 9, 2025)
For only the third time ever, we found ourselves at an outdoor event—and for the first time, we ventured all the way to Langley for the Tears of Joy Hot Sauce Expo. Quite the adventure! Our little rental car was overflowing with amazing products, including several made especially for this show.
Held at the Langley Riders Society Fairgrounds, we rolled in at 8:00am and were ready to welcome guests by 10:00am. This included a crash course in tent setup—our first time doing it ourselves! With two tables full of 3D printed fun, we slathered on sunscreen, cranked up a portable fan, and enjoyed a day of spicy taste tests, live music, and summer vibes.
We made a new friend at Tofino Hot Sauce, who kindly loaned us a couple of jars to display in our brand-new Devilish Hot Sauce Carrier and “The Sauce Kraken” Tentacle Bottle Holder (we forgot our display bottles) —both big hits with the hot sauce crowd. Our flexi-pepper fidgets also drew plenty of curious hands leading to smiling faces.
By around 3:30, a few of our critters, fidgets and clickers had found new homes, leaving the tables looking a little roomier. We packed things up, cranked the AC & tunes for the ride, and headed home with sun on our faces and that happy “good event” tired.
It was another inaugural event we were thrilled to be part of! Huge thanks to Neil and his team for making everyone feel welcome and taken care of from start to finish.
