Product Questions
Are products in stock and ready to ship?
At Evergreen Layers, we mostly roll with a print-to-order model, which means we don’t keep a huge inventory on hand. Instead, we get to work on your custom piece as soon as you place your order! This lets us offer a bunch of unique designs and options while keeping waste to a minimum—win-win! While this might mean a small wait before we ship, we work hard to create and process your order as quickly as possible. Just a heads-up: processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the item and how busy we are, but we’ll always do our best to get your awesome creation to you ASAP!
If you custom print, why are items “out of stock?”
Sometimes, there’s a bit of a wait while we restock the materials we need. If the item you’re eyeing is marked as out of stock, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’ll happily give you an ETA or help you place a custom order!
Will I receive the same product that I see in the picture?
We do our best to make sure the product images on our site show exactly what you’ll get. But since each piece is made to order, you might notice some tiny differences here and there—it's all part of the 3D printing magic! Rest assured, we put a lot of love and care into crafting and inspecting each item to make sure it meets our high standards. While your product may have a few unique touches, it’ll still look super close to what you see on our site—and just as awesome!
Do you design all your products?
While we don’t create all of our product designs in-house, we team up with some seriously talented designers who grant us commercial use rights for their awesome creations. We partner with designers across platforms like memberships, Patreon, and more, which means we can always offer a unique and diverse range of products for you. By doing this, we get to support the creative community while bringing you the geeky, high-quality items you love! Just a heads-up: because of this, we can’t always offer customizations on every product.
What if my model has a flaw or is damaged?
Because of the nature of 3D printing, no two prints will ever be exactly the same, and sometimes little imperfections happen—it's part of what makes each piece unique! We carefully inspect every order to make sure it meets our high standards before shipping. Since most of our products are made to order, we generally can’t offer refunds.
That said, we take a lot of pride in what we do and want you to be happy with your purchase. If you’re concerned about a potential flaw in your item, just reach out to us! We’ll gladly take a look and handle things on a case-by-case basis. Please keep in mind that we reserve the final say on whether we can accept a return or process a refund.

What happens after ordering?
Once you place an order with Evergreen Layers, we jump right into action to make sure you get your custom-made items as quickly as possible. Here’s what happens next:
- Order Confirmation: After checkout, you’ll get an email with all the details of your order and your order number. It’s like your digital receipt!
- Production: Since most of our products are made to order, we start crafting your item right away. This might involve 3D printing, customizing, or assembling your unique pieces.
- Quality Inspection: We give every product a thorough once-over to make sure it’s up to our high standards before we package it up.
- Packaging: Your item gets packed up with care to make sure it arrives safe and sound. We use sturdy packaging to keep it protected on its journey to you.
- Shipping: Once your order is shipped, you’ll get an email with all the tracking info so you can keep an eye on its progress.
- Delivery: Your custom package arrives at your doorstep, ready to be unwrapped and enjoyed!

How long will delivery take?
Delivery times for your Evergreen Layers order can vary depending on where you are and which shipping method you pick. Since all our products are made to order, don’t forget to factor in both production and shipping time when estimating when your awesome new item will arrive.
- Production time: This can vary depending on how complex your design is and how busy we are. But don’t worry—we work as quickly as possible to keep the wait to a minimum.
- Shipping time: Once your order is ready to go, the delivery time will depend on your location and shipping method. Here’s a quick rundown:
- Within Canada: Shipping typically takes 2-7 business days, depending on how close you are to Vancouver (where we ship Canadian orders from).
- Within the USA: Shipping usually takes about 3-5 business days, as we ship from Blaine, Washington via USPS.
- International: Shipping times can vary a lot depending on where you are and how customs goes, but on average, expect anywhere from 7-21 business days.
These are just estimates, and things like holidays, weather, or other unexpected delays can affect delivery times. Once your order ships, we’ll send you a tracking number so you can follow your package’s journey. If you have any questions or concerns along the way, our friendly customer service team is always happy to help!
Do I have to pay duties and taxes?
Whether duties and taxes apply to your Evergreen Layers order depends on where you’re located:
- Canada: No duties here! But you’ll need to pay GST/HST/PST during checkout based on your province. We show you this before checkout.
- USA: No duties for orders from the U.S. either—nice and simple!
- International: For international orders, duties and taxes might apply depending on your country’s customs laws. These extra charges are the customer’s responsibility (you) and aren’t included in the product price or shipping fees.
Make sure to check out your country’s customs policies before placing an international order so there aren’t any surprises when your awesome new item arrives!
Where do you ship from?
At Evergreen Layers, we ship from different locations to make sure your order gets to you as efficiently as possible:
- Canada: All Canadian orders ship from Vancouver, BC.
- USA: For orders within the U.S., we ship from Blaine, Washington, using USPS.
- International: International orders are sent out from Vancouver, using our trusted global shipping partners.
By shipping from these spots, we aim to keep delivery smooth, cost effective and speedy for customers all around the world!
Who do you ship with?
At Evergreen Layers, we’ve teamed up with a third-party shipping provider, Chit Chats, to make sure your orders are delivered efficiently and reliably.
- Canada: Chit Chats uses Canada Post for deliveries, and they even offer in-branch pickups if that’s easier for you!
- USA: In the U.S., Chit Chats partners with USPS for shipping.
- International: For global shipments, Chit Chats works with various partners like Asendia to get your order to you, no matter where you are.
By partnering with Chit Chats, we’re able to offer a smooth and seamless shipping experience to customers around the world.

What payment methods do we accept?
At Evergreen Layers, we like to keep things flexible so you can pay your way! We accept major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, through our secure payment gateway. You can also check out using PayPal for a quick and easy option. We’ve got you covered with a variety of choices to make your shopping experience as smooth and secure as possible!
Do we offer refunds, returns, or exchanges?
At Evergreen Layers, we’re all about delivering high-quality, custom-made products that we’re proud of. Since each item is made to order, we typically don’t accept returns or exchanges, and most products are non-refundable. That said, we totally get that things happen! If you have any concerns with your order, reach out to us—we’ll look into it and handle things on a case-by-case basis.
